COVID-19 Commitment to Safety
New York State Travel Advisory
Due to COVID-19, changes to our complimentary continental breakfast have been made and we will no longer be offering a buffet. All continental breakfast orders will be taken at the time of check-in. We have developed a safety plan which all employees must follow in coordination with the NY health and safety guidelines. This plan requires our staff to wear face masks and gloves whenever in contact with hotel guests. All guests and hotel employees will be screened upon arrival by having their temperature tested. Additionally, we have installed a new UV air filtration system in our buildings, which is 99% effective in killing all airborne viral and bacterial spores.
Our twenty-three accommodations expand across four separate buildings with no elevators and are no taller than two stories, perfect for physical distancing. Contact our front desk to arrange for a contact-less check-in.
Complimentary Continental breakfast is served in our dining room daily from 8AM to 10AM, our gorgeous panoramic view of Cayuga Lake and amazing freshly ground coffee, make it worth getting up in the morning.
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is provided to all guests.
Complimentary self-parking beside each of the four buildings is available to all guests. Please note, valet parking is not available.
Tesla Charging Stations:
We offer two complimentary Tesla vehicle charging stations that also feature a converter to allow for usage by other electric vehicles. The stations are located at the main Victorian Inn and the Hillside House. Please see the front desk for further details.
We offer hotel guests complimentary use of our laundry facility, including soap that is automatically dispensed. Please see the front desk to obtain access to this amenity.
Front Desk Hours:
Our hours of operation are from 9:00AM-5:00PM late Fall through Spring. Late May-October hours are 7:00AM-9:00PM Sunday-Thursday and 7:00AM-11:00PM Friday-Saturday, subject to change. Please note, we do not operate a 24-hour front desk.
Check-in is at 3:00PM and if you anticipate arriving "After Hours" when our front desk is closed, please contact us so we can make arrangements to accommodate your after-hours check-in. Our check out time is at 11:00AM. Guests who depart earlier than specified in the confirmed reservation will be charged for the full duration of their stay.
We offer a contactless check-in process. Please contact the front desk prior to arrival to arrange for this complimentary service. Note, guests staying in the Victorian Inn will need to pass through the main reception area to access their guestroom.
To hold your room reservation, we require an advance deposit equal to the first night of your stay, payable immediately after your reservation has been placed. Please note, special event dates require a deposit at the time of booking equal to the entire stay value. Special event dates are noted below under cancellation and loss of deposit policies.
Cancellation and Loss of Deposit Policy:
We have seasonal and special event policies as follows.
*By 3:00 pm 14 days before arrival for stays the Friday of Memorial weekend through the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, excluding special event weekends noted below.
*By 3:00 pm 7 days before arrival for stays Labor Day Monday through the Thursday of Memorial weekend, excluding special event weekends noted below.
*By 3:00 pm 60 days before arrival for stays over the following 2021-2022 special event dates:
Ithaca College graduation weekend: May 20/21, 2022
Cornell University graduation weekend: May 27/28/29, 2022
Guests canceling inside the above policy time frames will forfeit their entire deposit taken at the time of booking.
Guests failing to arrive for all or part of a confirmed reservation without canceling and receiving a cancellation code will forfeit their advance deposit and be charged for the remaining balance of their entire stay. Your reservation will be held until 10:00 am the day following your arrival date, after which the room will be released.
Room rates are based on double occupancy, and not all rooms can accommodate a third or fourth person. If you need to add person(s) to your confirmed reservation, please contact us in advance to see if we can accommodate this change. If a third or fourth person is added to your reservation there is a $25 per person charge, per night. Please let us know if you add additional guests so we can provide more towels and other toiletries to accommodate your party. Note, cots, and rollaway beds are not available.
Our restaurant typically opens for the season on Good Friday and operates on Thursday through Sunday, between the hours of 5 pm and 9:30 pm during PEAK season. It closes after Thanksgiving, and hours are subject to vary. We offer a wonderful selection of classic American cuisine with a Mediterranean influence, and our dining room offers stunning views of Cayuga Lake. We always extend preferential treatment to our hotel guests in accommodating their requests, so please call us to make your dinner reservation.
Our gift cards are the perfect present for any occasion. Gift cards can be purchased in any dollar amount and can be used for any Inn service, whether it's a weekend stay in our luxury Falls Suite, or a birthday dinner celebration for a larger group.
To purchase a gift card, please call 607-387-7711 and our guest services team will be delighted to mail the card anywhere you desire with a personal note.
We only accept Inn at Taughannock Falls gift cards. All gift cards must be presented at the time of check-in to receive credit.
We welcome pets within Parkview guestrooms only, which are perfectly situated beside the state park. There is a non-refundable $50.00 fee per pet/per stay, as well as a $300 deposit that will be returned upon departure, once housekeeping inspects that no damage occurred as a direct result of your pet. Please note, no pets are permitted in our other buildings, including the Victorian Inn, Hillside, and Edgewood. For the safety of guests with pet allergies, any guest breaching our policy and bringing a pet into the above listed buildings will be charged a $250 fee for deep cleaning. Please contact the front desk before your arrival if you plan to bring your pet.
The hotel maintains a strict no smoking policy for all rooms and guest houses. There will be a $200 cleaning fee added to your final bill should there be evidence of smoking.
We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee should you leave the room in an unsatisfactory manner that exceeds normal standards.
For the safety of our hotel guests, please return all guestroom keys provided at check in. Any unreturned guestroom keys result in a $50 fee per missing key. Note, we do not utilize electronic key cards.
Guest Transfer Charges:
Any restaurant or bar charges transferred to your room will be automatically added to your final guestroom folio and collected at checkout.
