Getting its name from the foaming cascade caused by Buttermilk Creek when it flows down towards Cayuga Lake, this state park is a favorite among visitors. The Robert H. Treman State Park is a 1,110-acre state park located in Tompkins County. Featuring the rugged gorge, Enfield Glen, this park is made up of several winding trails and about 12 waterfalls. Since 1973, the Ithaca Farmers Market has been attracting thousands to explore over 160 vendors selling local produce, crafts, and baked goods. On Saturdays and Sundays from April through December, the market is located in a beautiful park pavilion overlooking Cayuga Lake. The market continues throughout the winter months, just on a smaller scale.
